Shared line functionality - algeus - 06-25-2014 05:30 PM

Dear all,

We are using V72 T22 and T28 phones(and a Digium Switchvox PBX) in the company, and trying to create some solution that will simulate a residential "shared line",when same extension is being configured on number of phones, all the phones ringing altogether on a call, and the call can be picked up from each of the phones.

Looking on the phone's GUI I could see there is a "Shared Line" option within the Account->Advanced, but it's Disabled...

Could you please advise whether the solution I'm looking for is available on Yealink phones?

Thank you in advance,

Alex

Hi algeus,

The SCA feature depends on PBX server. The Yealink phones support it with Broadsoft PBX.
But we don't have compatibility test with Switchvox PBX about SCA feature.
May i know did you use this feature succesfully in other brand phones?
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hello,

And thank you for your prompt answer.
No,I didn't check this issue with other brands, but again - I can not even change the "Disabled" status on the phone GUI...
From your answer, can I understand that Shared line feature available with Broadsoft only?

Brgds,

Alex

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
Not only Broadsoft, the Yealink phones support other PBX which have this feature.
As i said, the SCA feature depends on PBX server. You can ask your pbx server provider for help.

Thanks in advance for you kindly advice.
