People who are experiencing issues with the EHS box and certain Plantronics headsets (have tested with CS540), The issue is with the 3.5mm audio cables metal tip not being long enough.

Try to push and hold the cable into the plantronics base and answer a call.

If this works, it means you need to buy a new 3.5mm audio cable as the Yealink ones do not work.


Yealink cable pictured right, as you can see the cable on the left is slightly longer as it has a slight protrusion.

Is there any update on if you guys have changed the 3.5mm audio cable supplied with the Yealink EHS box. We deploy CS540's with EHS boxes and need to source a cable out each time.

It would be better if the cable supplied with the EHS was better quality.
