Hi guys,
just posting this question out of curiosity, I'm using the yealinks on a hosted broadsoft platform and was just wondering why the presence feature needs to rely on the UC one client? instead of it being it's own XMPP client.

Yealink has T46G, T48G and T49G models which support presence feature, for your question, i afraid that you need to contact Broadsoft for the answer.
