T46G Network Unavailable after reboot - fau - 05-12-2014 10:21 PM

Hi All,

My company wish change our old phones for Yealink phones. So we are testing T46G and T32G. (T46G Firmware : 28.71.0.176, T32G firmware : 32.70.0.130)
Autoprovioning works great with the voice vlan setted but sometime we have problems with T46G after reboot.
In fact, we lose the network connection whereas it keep the provisionned config.
To fix it we need to reboot an other time.
It only appears with T46G, T32g dosen't have this problem.

Have you any idea for solve this issue ?
Thanks in advance.

What is your environment size?
What switches are the Voice Vlans being created with?

We are 80 users in the company, our IPBX is Asterisk and the switches used are Juniper EX2200 and we use Juniper srx 220 for DHCP service.
The T32G is connected on the same link as the T46G and we have no problem with T32G.

Do you disable DHCP VLAN in T46G? It seems you configure VLAN VID manually but not DHCP VLAN, because T32G doesn't support DHCP VLAN. Or do you configure the network parameters as the same in T46G and T32G?

DHCP VLAN is enabled on T46G with option 132. I have added this option on DHCP service, but it didn't work, so I manually setted the VLAN ID like on T32G and it works but when a reboot is occured. The phone loose the network connection but keep the configuration in his flash memory. (registration, vlan id... )

Do you disable LLDP and try again? It may connect DHCP VLAN automatically.
