Wav.Play not working on T38G - cptjack - 04-21-2014 07:36 AM

I am trying to get the T38G to play a wav file. Following the the XML guide I tried to use:

<YealinkIPPhoneTextScreen Beep="yes">
<Title>Test</Title>
<Text>Play a sound?</Text>
<SoftKey index="1">
<Label>Yes</Label>
<URI>Wav.Play:http://server/voip/yealink/ringtone/Emergency.wav</URI></SoftKey>
<SoftKey index="2">
</SoftKey>
<SoftKey index="3">
</SoftKey>
<SoftKey index="4">
<Label>No</Label>
<URI>SoftKey:Exit</URI>
</SoftKey>
</YealinkIPPhoneTextScreen>

This is not working on the T38G. Nothing gets downloaded from the webserver. The webserver doesn't get any request for the file, as seen in the access.log.
Firmware version: 38.70.0.200 and 38.70.115.9

The same XML file is working on T26 phones with Firmware 6.70.13.9.

I think you can ask your distributor for help if this is a BUG.
Our corresponding technical specialist will help you with this issue if you sbumit this issue to your distributor.

Do you mean the shop where I bought the phone or the local ditributor for Belgium (Tiptel)?
