T46G + EHS36 + Plantronics Legend CS (bluetooth model) - yellowiron - 04-28-2016 10:23 PM

Having an issue with my Plantronics Legend CS Bluetooth headset (CSEB-01). Works just fine with my cell phone. But with my T46G, I can hear other person, but the other person gets a bunch of garbage, static and my voice is piratically inaudible. Haven't shipped this headset back yet, thought there might be something I missed. And yes, I have tried all volume settings and the other slide switch to no avail... Anyone have this issue?

That's interesting. Legend CS is on compatibility list:

I will try my Plantronics Voyager with T46G

We've just started experiencing this intermittently. Almost exactly the same setup, Yealink TG48G with Yealink Bluetooth adapter and Plantronics Voyager Legend. We're using 3CX so on a loopback audio test (*777) all you can hear is echoey garbage noise. This has happened with a brand new out of the box unit even. Paired it to my cell phone and it worked perfectly, then reconnected it to the Yealink and the problem was gone, but I'm not sure why... or when it will return...

V 35.80.0.60 of the firmware on the T48G

I have had exactly the same problem with both the Sennheiser MB Pro and Jabra Evolve Bluetooth headsets.
Obviously its not a headset problem and it is causing me a real headache.
Can anyone help with this? Is it a firmware issue or BT40 issue?

I am having exactly the same problem with a plantronics voyager on a T46. The plantronics worked fine in our lab, we then shipped it to a customer who used it with no problems for about 3 weeks but gradually on more and more calls it exhibited the same symptom of impenetrable noise back to the caller (inbound call)
As the first Plantronics was our demo unit loaned to the customer, they had then bought their own Plantronics on the strength of it and now both devices exhibit the same problem.

Being a little bit knowledgeable on DSPs (but a long time ago) it seems to me that the dongle to phone interface is becoming unstable and generating PCM noise in one direction. (headset to caller) We are going to try a phone reset and then a factory reset and then downspeeding the phone to 100Mbs to see if we can fix it. I'm also going to try replacing the dongle. BUT there have been sufficient reports of this problem with different BTooth headset types that Yealink need to take it seriously - Is it worth me capturing logs from the phone?

Hi Chris

To solve this issue faster, I need to check again with you and submit the files needed to R&D to do more troubleshooting.
1.A use the headset, and A make a call to B, A will hear the noise, right?
2.When you use handset mode or speaker mode, will you hear the noise?
3.the last but not least, please export the pacp, syslog, config.bin files of A phone(the one with headset). For how to get them, please refer to the FAQ:
http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=311
NOTE: you should reproduce the issue so that you can get useful files to me.

In the meantime, how many phones do you have?
You also can reply on my e-mail , i send the e-mail to you with my personal e-mail.

TKS & BR
Kevin
