T27P Voicemail greeting problem. - damok - 04-27-2016 06:42 PM

Hi.
We are using T27P handsets in our office, and are having a Voicemail greeting problems.

1. When recording a name on a handset (eg. 'John' is not available to take your call, leave a message after the beep.) We would like to leave a longer recording (the company name), but only very short recordings are accepted. Can that be changed somehow?

2. Also, can the pre recorded message also be changed (the part that says 'is not available to take your call, leave a message after the beep.')

Thanks guys.

damok.

This is based on your PBX and not the phone....

Usually name is "First Last". This is to identify user on Company "Dial By Name" Directory usually.
Then there is usually a longer greeting as well for "I am not here. Please leave name number, etc."

Check with your PBX Provider if you are unsure or unclear on their setup.

Thanks for the reply Craig. I will try asking our provider.
