Hi rlcom,

Do your all T4 series have low microphone volume? Or some special phones?
We test the sending volume with some technical tools and the sending volume is higher than T2 series.

Hi jmenan,

There are two type volume, one is send volume and the other is recieve volume.
If you are difficult to hear to quite, it is about recieve volume.
The receive volume can be easily changed by pressing volume button on phone panel.

We have re-submit this requirement to our product department.

thanks

[attachment=887]Can I request this too ? I'm a professional sound engineer who's just bought a T48G and a headset - the volume sent from the headset is way too low, if it helps enclosed is a graphical display of the difference between the handset and the headset,I think you'll quite easily see where i swapped over !

Great phone ! Shame about the headset volume.

Is it the handset itself? Have you tried using the handset in the headset port to see if its the physical microphone, or the port itself? If it happens in both ports, you might want to try a handset from a different phone and possibly a different phone cord as well. That would narrow down the issue.

Also, just out of curiosity, have you tried talking into the speakerphone microphone, to see if the volume changes on the other end? Sometimes when I switch from handset to speakerphone, the handset mic is the one that stays active until I hang it up (sometimes I just lay it down on the desk). People can't hear me then. I'm curious if something similar might be happening here (but in reverse), where the speakerphone mic is the one that is active.

Hi, same problem here.
Is there a way to increase headset mic volume ?
Standard microphone works correctly, but headset microphone is too low.
