BLF setup for FortiVoice systems - fleeecy - 02-18-2016 11:45 AM

Hi, first-time poster here, thanks for your patience Smile

I'm working to integrate a T46G on a FortiVoice FVC-40D2 phone system.

The T46G generally works quite well, but I'm unable to get BLF to work properly. Extensions are not monitored correctly and LEDs don't light up accordingly.

Fortinet sells Yealink-based phones now (namely the 470i and 67xi series), and I've tried to replicate settings I can see in the 470 admin interface but using "tsla" as the BLF URI doesn't seem to be enough.

I found this also : https://www.spiderwebsolutions.com.au/configuring-ip-phones-talkswitch-fortivoice-voip-systems/

Again, I seem to be missing something.

Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can you please contact with Fortinet for help?
I think you can get help from them.

Tried that, no go. They only support their own brand of phones. Even if some of them are rebranded Yealinks. The FortiVoice FON-450i is a Yealink T68G for example.

Maybe someone here knows how settings from a T68G would match settings on a T46G? Is some sort of export-import possible between these two?
