First seconds no sound - JSM Communications - 02-10-2016 08:41 PM Hi all, we have 2 clients complaining about the first second(s) of a call beeing dead. Meaning the other line cant hear anything the first second of a call, so if your phone rings you pickup and instantly answer they cant hear it. So you need to wait a second or two and then talk ... which can be (and is) frustrating for our clients. 1st client works with Yealink T42G on firmware: 29.80.0.70 2nd client works with Yealink T42G on firmware: 29.73.0.50 Is this something the new firmware 29.80.0.95 can fix? Or is this problem related to something else? Both clients work with Hexios/Voipplay VOIP platform (Belgium). Thanks in advance, Nathan. RE: First seconds no sound - Karl_Yealink - 02-18-2016 03:40 PM Hi Nathan, Sorry for late respond as we are back to office from Chinese New Year holiday. I think it maybe cause by network environment. Would you please help us to get the pcap and config.bin and syslog files. We can check something from them. You can get more info from the FAQ: http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=311 And please tell me how many phones do you have? And how many phones have this issue? RE: First seconds no sound - RUN_Support - 02-24-2016 05:34 AM There is a brief moment when you answer the call where audio doesn't go through. Every yealink phone does this but it's generally just a matter of waiting a half second longer before you say hello.
