Hi.
I'm provisioning some T21P E2 phones (firmware 52.80.0.3) using the same files that I already use with T21P phones (fireware X.72) but I'm having call problems.
Extensions can be registered, but when I try to call I received the following error in display:
call failed - forbidden
In Asterisk, I noticed the following messages:
[Jan 29 09:01:46] WARNING[2559][C-0000058e]: chan_sip.c:16393 check_auth: username mismatch, have <3257>, digest has <IP Phone>
[Jan 29 09:01:46] NOTICE[2559][C-0000058e]: chan_sip.c:25569 handle_request_invite: Failed to authenticate device "3257" <sip:3257@192.168.0.8:5060>;tag=2901584664
And in SIP packet I can confirm that digest username is wrong:

I didn't find this "IP Phone" string anywhere in my configs.
Anybody else is having this issue?
Or anybody else is using T21P E2 with firware X.80 provisioned with Asterisk and it's working fine?

as 52.80.0.3 is really old firmware , so would you please kindly upgrade to the newest firmware and then reset to test again ?

Hi.
I upgraded the firmware as you told me.
Using T21P_E2
Firmware Version 52.80.0.95
Hardware Version 52.0.0.0.0.0.0
But problem persists:
[Mar 1 14:09:52] WARNING[2442][C-0000022b] chan_sip.c: username mismatch, have <3258>, digest has <IP Phone>
[Mar 1 14:09:52] NOTICE[2442][C-0000022b] chan_sip.c: Failed to authenticate device "3258" <sip:3258@192.168.0.8:5060>;tag=3352111893
Just after factory reset, provisioning works and I can call, but after telephone is rebooted the problem starts again.
Another info: I'm using the same provisioning with T19P_E2 with 53.80.0.70 and I can't reproduce the problem.
