Using redial tone on "9".
Would like to additionally use it on other digit strings, such as #8, is that possible?

Yes, I use "9" to indicate outgoing calls to the PSTN. The dial tone after the "9" is to mimic the behavior of our legacy Avaya PBX which we are still running along with FreePBX.

On Avaya, there are other additional feature codes, that return dial tone before you enter more digits.
Is it possible to use the "Redial Tone" feature (under Features/Audio) on my Yealink for more than just one digit string?

I think you need to contact with your server provider for help.

Because the function code is the featuer in server side. You can't change it in phone side.
