RTCP-XR Collector - kgmoney - 01-20-2016 05:34 AM

Hi,

I'm interested in the RTCP-XR options on my T46G phones. Is there any info on setting up a collector? Are there any open source collector available?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hmmm, Homer Sipcapture looks interesting...http://sipcapture.org/. Anyone used this for monitoring?

You can get more info from the guide(page 576) below.

Kevin,

Captagent 6 is fairly easy and trouble free to setup, and will do both SIP and RTCP-XR capture, if you are using something like HOMER/Sipcapture to view the information.

I'd advise checking the Captagent github for more info.. https://github.com/sipcapture/captagent/wiki/About.

Incidentally, we use HOMER/Sipcapture and its exceedingly useful Smile

Regards,
Ben

Yes, check out homer sip capture.

My question is how do you setup the T4x series to send rtcp-xr to the capture server? Any doc on how to do this?

Hello,

How do you set this up ?
Do phones directly forward RTCP to a third party capture device while exchanging RTP with its SIP Server or do you capture RTCP on SIP server itself ?

How many phones do you gather data from ?
Are those phones located on the same LAN as the capturing box ?

Best regards
