Remote phone book mac in URL - blackc2004 - 01-14-2016 01:12 AM

Hello,

My provider requires that I pass the Phone's MAC in the URL to retrieve the remote phone book. IE: Http://my.server.url/phonebook?mac=MYMACADDRESS

I tried using $mac and that doesn't appear to work. Is there a variable we can use to remote phone book URL to pass the MAC address?

Please add the remote phonebook file in the server, then copy the URL of the file and fill it in the remote phonebook URL.
Why do you want to add $mac?

As I said, my provider requires that I pass the MAC ADDRESS of the phone to the URL of the server. When setting up provisioning it would be nice to be able to have a MAC address variable that I can use in the phone to pass it back to the server. Every other phone does this, cisco, polycom, ec. You should support it too.

Sorry that we can't support it right now.
I will give this suggestion to our PD.
