Hi All,

Have an issue with 3CX and Yealink T23G. We have staff who use the call pickup facility very often *20*

When the above pickup facility is used the phones history does not show the call that was taken.

It does not show it on the the phone that rings or the phone that the call was taken on.

I posted a message on the 3CX forum and they advised the below. Please let me know if there is a phone setting that can be changed. As this behavior is not apparent on the Cisco 504G which shows it as a missed call.

When you *20* from another phone, the initial phone that is ringing receives a CANCEL message with a reason of "call answered elsewhere" or something along those lines.
Most of the phones when they see this they do not show a missed call as they call was not lost, it was answered just by someone else.

I don't know of a parameter in the phones UI that might change this behavior but it might be good idea to also post a question on the Yealink forums as well as

It's up to server side, if the phone receive CANCEL message include "call answered elsewhere", the phone won't show missed call.

If you want the phone will show missed call, please contact with the server side to change the CANCAL message.

Hi Karl,

it would be nice if the Yealink phones had the option to show calls, that have been answered elsewere. I guess showing those calls by default as "forwarded calls" and not as "missed calls" might be a nice behaviour for most use cases.
