T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - tsukraw - 01-17-2014 11:13 PM I had asked this question on 3CX website as well. So i have a customer who wants a Xfer VM button on there phones. After doing all research i found there is a Prefix option for a DSSkey on the YeaLink phones. I programmed a PreFix key as *4 If i press Prefix + BLF i go to the BLF extensions voicemail as expected.... However if i press Transfer + Prefix + BLF the caller gets transferred to *4 only not to the voicemail of the BLF extension. Since there is 2 different results here it would almost appear as though it is a bug. We would like to see the same function of being able to press transfer + Prefix + BLF. I had submitted the question to support and they said to just press Transfer + Prefix + dial extension. The issue with that is when we have a receptionist with a couple EXT units. She does not know 100+ extension numbers she knows where there buttons are.... Has anyone else ran into this or have a work around? Yealink please look at and fix? RE: T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - rlsabin - 01-18-2014 01:04 AM I am finding the same thing on my T28P running 2.72.0.1. When I try and transfer a call using the prefix + BLF buttons only the prefix gets dialed. The prefix + BLF button functions correctly as long as you are not trying to transfer a call. The workaround we're using right now is to press transfer, prefix, enter the extension then press transfer. So transferring to voicemail becomes [TRANS][PREFIX][1][0][0][TRAN] the same way you have stated. Our customer asks us daily if this feature/bug has been added/fixed **Subscribing to Post** RE: T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - Yealink Support - 02-19-2014 11:31 AM Hi nrollo, We can support trans+prefix+directory now for version x.72.0.25 for T2X. So you can choose the number from the directory. T46G doesn't support this feature now. RE: T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - tsukraw - 02-19-2014 12:59 PM When will version version x.72.0.25 be available for download? Just looked on the download page and it is still version x.72.0.1 as the downloadable version for the T46G RE: T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - Yealink Support - 02-19-2014 02:06 PM Hi tsukraw, Sorry. T46G doesn't support this feature now. I will submit a request to our R&D. RE: T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - tsukraw - 02-19-2014 10:11 PM So which phone model were you referring to that does support it? RE: T46G Tansfer to Prefix+BLF - chadgross - 03-18-2014 07:47 AM Just to throw in my 2 cents . . . if possible, I'd like to be able to enter an optional prefix to the Transfer DSSKey configuration instead of having the Transfer functionality know to behave differently if a Prefix button type is pressed after a Transfer button. That way we could define a DSSKey as a Transfer type with our *4 prefix and label it VM Xfer. The benefit for the end user would be a 2-button-press transfer to voicemail experience (VM Xfer + BLF) - which quite honestly is how virtually every key system since the early 80's has worked I would also think this approach may be easier to implement since the prefix would be included in the DSSKey definition - so you could still assume only one BLF key press after the transfer key instead of having to allow for multiple key presses if you're going to support Transfer + prefix + BLF. Thanks! Chad |
