T22P Arabic Characters Display - saleh - 12-08-2015 11:54 PM
Hi All,
Is there any way to display Arabic characters on the T22P IP Phone. We have integration our CRM with our IP PBX and need to display the caller Name in the T22P IP Phone. We have tested it but we see wrong Arabic characters on the T22.
Please advice us how to fix this issue.

You can try traslate it by yourself, you can get more info about this from the gudie(page 89) below.

Thank you for your reply.
Our problem not in the translation but the problem that the T22P cannot display Arabic characters because the font library on the IP phone not supported Arabic language.
Please see the below:
The new added language must be supported by the font library on the IP phone. If the
characters in the custom language file are not supported by the phone, the IP phone will
display "?" instead.
When we send the caller name in arabic we see this "?" in the phone display.
Please how we can fix issue.

Sorry to tell you that the T22 can't support Arabic characters right now.

Which Yealink IP Phone support Arabic characters right now.
We have in our office T22P,T23P and T28P and our customer need to display the caller name in Arabic.

Would you please tell me how many phones do you have?

We have 50 T22P and 10 T23P but we have many customers that have many units T22P and T28P. I hope in future that Yealink support Arabic language. We work with Yealink IP Phone's since longtime.
