W52p Ghost calls - Fenrir8666 - 11-18-2015 10:17 PM

Hi,
I'm using the W52p. I'm getting calls since 2-3 weeks by numbers i.e. 1011, 5555, 55555, 9999 and so on.

I have upgraded the firmware of the base, as well as of the handheld to the newest version available on your update website.
This did not solve the problem.

I also found another page on your hompage with the instructions to disable direct ip call and do enable sip trust ctrl in the profile.

I can't find those options in my webinterface at all.
My webinterface is in German. I've compared the screenshots on the instruction website to my webinterface and they look different (not only the language).
I went thorugh every menu in the webinterface but could not find one of these options to change them.
I also exported the config to my pc and looked through the config file.
Both options are not contained in the config file.

What can I do to solve that problem?
Getting calls in the middle of the night is some kind of non-satisfying.

for W52P, you can adjust these parameter through auto provision , for more details , please refer to the auto provision guide download from below link :

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Is it possible that you tell me what to do exactly?
I'm a private user operating 1 phone.
I don't know what auto provision is and actually I don't want to read a 180 page strong document, to solve a problem that according to this forum and google a lot of people seem to have.

Hi,

If you trust me then login into your W52P, open the “Phone” tab and click “Auto Provision”
Setup “Provisioning Server” field with this URL:
https://www.go-ccs.nl/downloads/y000000000025.cfg
After that, click “Confirm” then click “Autoprovision Now” to provision your W52P with both parameters.

I you want to examine the .cfg file first then click the URL before enter it into the W52P.

Its up to you.

I tried this, and will check if it works. We sold around 20 such devices, and with almost every customer we have this problem.

How can I check if it worked, before having to wait for a ghost call? And do we have to keep the provisioning link filled-in? or can we remove it after auto-provisioning?

Not really, you can export the phone’s internal config file but this is a binary and coded file. So you can’t read this.
I am afraid you have to wait...

You don’t have to keep the provisioning link, but if you reprovision the phone, the settings can be overwritten by the new provisioning file.
