Hello,
I have an EXP40 connected to a T46G. Running firmware 28.80.0.60. However there is no way for me to program the EXP40 buttons from the phone itself.
My understanding is if I long press the buttons on the EXP40 it should show the DSS options on the T46G for that button so I can set them. However long pressing does NOTHING.
Alternatively on the T46G I click Menu -> Features -> DSS Keys. 27 keys are listed, all for the T46G. Nothing for the EXP40.
The only way I have to program the keys is through the webpage where the DSSKeys tab shows that the EXP40 is recognized by the phone. Or through provisioning (which is what I'm doing now using FreePBX + Endpoint Manager). But I want the users to easily be able to set these keys at their desk without going to a computer.
PS: Will try some older firmware to test as well and will report back.

Nevermind, it is working.
It just takes a LOT longer of a key press then I'm used to.
