T38 Speak before transfer to BLF - SL2013 - 12-20-2013 06:32 PM
We have a lot of T38 phones.
3 of our phones use 3 EXP39 modules (for BLF) the other phones use the memory keys for BLF.
When we transfer a phone call to another extension we can speak before transfer (with the #send key). But if we transfer to a BLF key the transfer is directly done, we can't speak before transfer with the person of the BLF key.
Is there a possibility to do that? It's very important for our reception.
Now the need to know al the extension numbers (so they can speak before transfer (parking the call)).

Hi SL2013,
Please enter the webpage->Phone->Features->Transfer Settings, select the desired option from the pull-down list of "Transfer Mode via DSSkey" , please select "Attended Transfer".
Then pleae try and feed back to me.

Yes, that works, but it don't send the Telephonenumber to the other extension (it sends the extensionnumber who transfer the phone call). When transfer directly it send the (outside) number.
Is there an option for a button: 'Blind transfer' and also for 'Attended transfer' (so the user can make a choise!)
Edit: Problem solved (with a prefix key).

Yes. I test this feature in 38.70.0.168 and it works well.
When you choose 'Blind transfer' in Transfer Mode via DSSkey, then you press transfer+blf, the transfer will directly done.
When you choose 'Attended transfer' in Transfer Mode via DSSkey, then you press transfer +blf, you can talk with the other extension,then press transfer again to transfer call.
