I was sent an email by your tech support showing that a Plantronics SupraPlus HW261N noise cancelling headset with an A10-16 adapter cord would work on this phone. It does not. I was also very clear that I did not want a headset that would require an amplifier. I was assured the above headset would work. The caller cannot hear me, so somehow the microphone on the headset is not transmitting through the phone. I can hear the other caller through the headset. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this. We have tried 4 different headsets with 3 Yealink phones, same model, in my office. Please advise. Wayson 541-622-2034, this number is where the headset it plugged in. Medford Oregon RE: Supported Plantronics Headsets with the T38G - jayw654 - 03-12-2014 07:43 PM Jabra makes some very good headsets and has all kinds of adapters that will make it work with a Yealink phone. Check out the 850-09 GN Netcom (Jabra) amplifier and the Jabra 2025 NC headset. If yoy want something nice check out the Jabra Biz 2400 Narrowband headset. They are compatible the T38G I have use it with the phone before. I said I already received an email from your tech team and purchased the headsets I posted that was recommended, which is the Plantronics Supra Plus HW261N with the A10-16 adapter cords. IT DOES NOT WORK! AGAIN, I stressed when I originally reached out to you that I did not want an amplifier. Is there a setting on these phones to make that headset work. Please read my original post again. This is getting very frustrating. I would like to get a phone number to actually talk to someone. Do you connect Plantronics U10P-S Cord with Plantronics Supra Plus HW261N ? Our phone should connect with this cord and Plantronics supra plus HW261N. Can you kindly try? I attach an Amazon link for this Plantronics U10P-S Cord. It is SPECIFIC FOR SNOM, YEALINK, ZULTYS PHONES. http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-U10P-S-Cord-38099-01/dp/B009YWZ0TQ RE: Supported Plantronics Headsets with the T38G - support@foehn.co.uk - 01-23-2015 08:30 PM Hi, I'm having the same issue when using Yealink T42G with any Plantronics headset, i tried three different models one of which is HW261N and the microphone on the headset doesn't work so client can't hear what I'm saying. I am using the Plantronics U10P-S Cord to connect the headset to the phone. Please can you advise me if there are any settigs I can change to get the microphone working? On Polycom handset I have a setting to change the brand of headset and it does the trick and microphone starts to work, although I would prefer to use my Yealink phone. I also tried headset from VXI and it works without any issues. We are a reseller and the problem is that our client already has Plantronics headsets, we were trying to sell them Yealink phones, but now we can't recommend them as the microphones doesn't work. If you could reply as soon as possible that would be welcomed. Kind regards, Patrik Resetka (03-13-2014 09:05 AM)Yealink Support Wrote:(03-12-2014 07:17 AM)wayson Wrote: Hello,Hi wayson, |
