ACTION URI AutoP - TomT - 10-08-2015 04:50 PM

Hi

I have my common cfg file and my mac specific cfg file in the root of my web folder.

When I run the following command the phone auto provisions fine reading the common y000000000028.cfg and my mac specific cfg file.

The command I'm running is:
http://admin:admin@192.168.1.10/servlet?key=AutoP

In my y000000000028.cfg I have specified a wallpaper.jpg and a ringtune.wav
When the phone auto provisions it loads these files.

Using Action URI I want to push an Auto Provision to the phone and only change DSSKey configuration. This works fine, but as the y000000000028.cfg is loaded there is a delay while the wallpaper and ringtune are downloaded again.

Is there any way to stop the same files being downloaded or only auto provision using the mac specific cfg file ?

Thanks

Hello Tom,

Phone can't only download mac.cfg file when the provision URL point to a folder.

So you want to chagne the DSSKey configuration in a batch of phone?
If you just need to chagne DSSKey configuration in several phones, please add the parameter into mac.cfg file.

If you don't change any parameter in common.cfg file phone won't provision it.

Regards,
James

Is there anyway to configure provisioning so I can select common, mac specific or both ?

Setting the Server URL in Settings / Auto Provision to :

http://192.168.1.100/000000000000.cfg
Where 000000000000 is a valid MAC Address, does allow to pull just that file in and not the common file.

yes, it will. But you will need to write a different URL for every phone.
