Disable ptime negotiation - T46G? - pacpac - 11-21-2013 07:59 PM I am running Asterisk 11.2-cert2 on FreePBX 2.11, where I understand a 20ms a packetization time is default. What is the effect on call quality if I disable ptime negotiation? RE: Disable ptime negotiation - T46G? - Yealink Support - 11-22-2013 09:38 AM Hi pacpac, Ptime gives the length of time in milliseconds represented by the media in a packet. When you have a call, the ptime should be the same with both callers. If you disable ptime, a call may drop or other cases. |
