Failure to obtain IP Address - tlsallada - 11-16-2013 02:21 AM I have a T42G I'm trying to install that can't seem to obtain an IP address. I tried another, good working phone at the same location with the same results. There is a PC in that office that is able to obtain an IP address. This particular location is quite a distance from the switch and I was wondering if perhaps that maybe the issue. If it were, how can the PC obtain an IP address but the phones cannot?? Then it can re-bind address of new phone. Just an advice, try again.
