Action URI: when is authentication required? - Plerry - 11-08-2013 03:52 PM Something that has been puzzling me for a while: Regarding the use of Action URI's, several of your manuals mention something like "When authentication is required, you must enter ..." But: when is authentication required? Is that as soon as a password for the "admin"-user has been changed from "admin" into something else? Or as soon as a password has been defined for the "user"-user? Or is it an option that can be selected (but I have not found yet)? I never seem to be able to circumvent the need for authentication. The Action URI filtering on IP-address and the explicit OK that needs to be provided on the phone (since FW7x) is sufficient for me. Thanks in advance!
