T46G Set up problems with 3CX V12 - tlsallada - 11-07-2013 01:30 PM

I'm rolling out 40 T42G phones and they are going in great. I have several T46G phones to install and so far they are posing a problem. I did upgrade to the latest firmware version supported by 3CX (28.71.0.176) but the phones don't seem to provision.
So far I got one to set up. Any help will be appreciated!!

Can you tell me your current version of T46G? And the step to provision?

I updated the firmware to 28.71.0.176 and the phones provisioned properly. Prior to that I updated them to 28.71.0.170 which didn't work.

Yes it appears the shipping firmware (28.71.0.80) and anything below 28.71.0.176 don't provision correctly; either they only pull the clock settings and password or they provision everything except the accounts!

We will just need to wait for the old stock to clear before the phones are shipping with 28.71.0.180 by default it seems Sad
