Setting DNS SRV from cero - Maradona - 11-06-2013 11:58 PM

Hi, im new in this forum. I'm setting the DNS SRV in T20P ipphone model, however in the link http://www.yealink.com/Upload/document/UsingDNSSRVFeatureonYealinkPhones/UsingDNSSRVFeatureonYealinkSIPT2XPPhonesRev_610-20595545425.pdf there is only a brief help, but my question is, where have i to set two ip address in order to point them to server name?

The help only shows the setting of 'Transport = DNS SRV', but I need to set two IP address with 'redundancy Fail-over'.

Is possible to use only IP addres, rather server name?

Thank you for the answer,

Eric Alarcón

Hi Maradona,

If you want to only use IP address, you can choose UDP as transport type and fill you two IP address in SIP Server Host.
We have added redundancy Fail-over server feature in Account' setting in version 71.
