Hi gekran, Because your firmware is custom, you should ask your distributor for help. They will help you out. RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - braymond - 04-09-2014 07:34 PM Yes, I have done that already and haven't heard of issues since then. Thanks, Benoit RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - anonymous1718628087441 - 04-18-2014 04:42 PM (04-08-2013 01:51 PM)rhysb Wrote: I'm also having this problem with a T26, EHS36 and Jabra 920. I've tried updating the EHS36 firmware and the latest FW on the T26 but no luck. It works initially, but inevitably loses the ability to answer and hang-up. The same for me (t26+ehs26+jabra920), do you find any solution? Firmware 3 of ehs36 fix the issue? (I only tried firmware 1 and 2). Thanks. RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - bpen32 - 10-14-2014 06:02 AM I have a T48g firmware 35.72.0.30 with and ehs36 firmware 3.16.0. Both of which are the latest firmware available. Ive tried two different headsets 1. CS540 Plantronics and 2. GN Netcom 9350e (Jabra). I have triple checked to make sure that I have the correct cables/plugs used for the specific brand, and here are my results. Plantronics CS540 - Cannot initiate a call from headset or hang up, period. I cant answer a call by pushing the hook/switch button and then pressing the already lit up Headset button on the T48g... but it already works (if you can call it that) that way without the EHS36. (Jabra) GN Netcom 9350 - I can initiate and hang up calls, but I have to press the H/S button on the headset 3-7 times to get it to initiate, and 3 times every time to hang up. This is obviously in no way shape or form reliable or acceptable. What do I need to do to get this major issue resolved? I purchased 5 EHS36's for my new phones in my office and they are basically worthless. I have upgraded them all as per the upgrade instructions, and have tried 3 of them, only to fine that they function the exact same. Ive also tested on T46G's with the latest firmware on your site, and the 28.72.0.205 for ehs36 upgrading, with the same results as the T48G. RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - Coco_Yealink - 10-14-2014 04:31 PM Hello bpen32, Please make sure you connect them as this order: IP phone-EHS36-wireless headset ( ignore the EXP if you not use it ) 1. IP phone+EHS36+CS540 The issue may cause by 3.5mm audio jack. Because the Yealink ones are slightly shorter than standard, and we have feedback this issue to our Product Department. So, could you please notice whether they are good connect ,make sure you have pluged the 3.5mm cable tightly to headset . (This situation appears only for CS540) 2.IP phone+EHS36+9350 May I check with you that the tested type of headset is 9350 or 9350e. Because 9350e has been tested compatible with Yealink IP Phone ,but 9350 hasn't been tested its compatibility. Thx RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - bpen32 - 10-15-2014 07:03 AM Like I said, I had tripple checked that I have everything connected the way you have you have it depicted above, but I played with the Plantroics and the 3.5mm cable for a few minutes by inserting/removing it many times, and pressing quite hard to make it stay in, but I eventually got it to stay and to work with my T48g. Unfortunately, there has been zero change with the GN Netcom. Yes it is a 9350e as it states clearly on the label. Unfortunately, as I went back to my Plantronics I had to mess with the 3.5mm jack for even longer this time to make it work. That's far from plug and play. Now that Ive got it working, I don't even want to nudge the base... must be overly careful. However after getting mine working on my T48g again, I went on to install another Plantronics on a T46g. After about 10 min. of upgrading the phone, and tinkering with every possible connection, I still could not get the Headset to function with the EHS operability. So I have removed it from the planned install location and have brought it back to waste more time testing on another T46g. I don't have time to tinker with 50+ phones that need headsets with EHS operability. This truly is unacceptable. I love the T series phones themselves, but this EHS36 is a bit a of Joke... especially with the "plug and play", and "easy to use" marketing. I would expect a better product from Yealink. Im doing everything I can to keep my supervisor content with these phones, but he is wanting to move to the Polycom platform because their EHS truly is plug and play. No tinkering, no upgrading, no wasted testing... It just works. (but I hate the phones!) We will moving to our new system of up to 150 phones... the question is will it be Yealink or Polycom. I want Yealink... but its not looking so good. Help me out, please. RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - Coco_Yealink - 10-15-2014 03:00 PM Hello bpen32 , I am very sorry that causing you distress Thanks for your support, and I am so glad to solve this issue to you. As for the phone+EHS36+Plantronics CS540. It is a known problem and we have feedback it to our Product Department. I believe that it will solve later. Is it possible for you to buy some 3.5 mm cables to test if this issue cause from the 3.5 mm cable. (Thank you for your understanding ) The issue happen in phone+EHS36+Jabra 9350e, could you please help to get the syslog(level 6)/ trace from the phone when issue happen ? export syslog config trace And please send your information to my mail : coco@yealink.com Thx RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - Eric Teisman - 02-25-2015 10:02 PM What is the status of this problem, because it still exists ! Setup : 6 x Yealink SIP-T38G (HW 21.3.4.160.64.0.0 / FW 38.70.1.33) Jabra EHS36 (HW 48.0.0.0 / FW 3.16.0.0) Jabra GN9120 Flex NC EHS 2 x SIP-T38G with Jabra GN9125 + GN1000 Remote Handset Lifter : NO problem ! Had to update EHS36 with a T46G otherwise 3.16.0.0 is not available. Sometimes phone can't be picked up with headset, and sometimes phone is picked up automatically ! (very inconvenient when your not aware). Occurrence seems to be random and can be temporary fixed by unplugging (reboot) the EHS36. RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - phlobot - 05-07-2015 04:06 AM still not fixed. EHS36 + jabra920 + yealink t26, firmware upgraded a lon time ago but doesn't work now. Is there a way to see in the firmware if the EHS is detected by the phone? RE: Reliability issues with headset control via EHS - anonymous1718628087441 - 05-07-2015 04:15 AM I all the time using Jabra Pro 920 with T26/T28 without any issue. I'm using the V73 firmware (last version) and the EHS36 are using release 3 of the firmware. You can check this value on the bottom of the first page into to the web configuration page of the phone. |
