Yealink Forums - Problems with W52H USB Upgrade

I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Handsets are on 26.30.0.10.

I downloaded W52 Flasher 4.7.0.1+April 10 and the application recognised my device through the USB but would not load 26.30.0.50.rom. I then downloaded the latest Flasher 4.10.2.0 which loads the .rom but does not recognise my device. Any ideas? The device appears in my device manager on COM10

I had tried to download the driver from ftp://Helen:6br6pcyl@ftp.yealink.com/Handset/ but it does not seem to be there any more. There is a usbser.sys in the correct directory at the moment.

Sorry it was typo. I am using 4.10.2.0, not 4.7.2.0. (changed original post for people to search)

I have solved by loading the Flasher onto an old laptop and it upgraded fine. However, I found that the software only detected the handset if I connected the USB cable while the handset screen was lit up by pushing a key. I don't know if other found this but I share it anyway.

So far very pleased with the .50 handset software.

I have tried using the USB 4.10.2.0 on Win 8, Win 7, and Windows XP all to no avail. The tool recognizes the handset, I select the ROM file, click upgrade, and it immediately says Done, but the status bar does not move

Any ideas?

i tried again with the new firmware flasher 4.11.0.1

It still hangs at install
