Hi, we have several T28 and T22 installed to some customers that have the same problem; random a continuos tone like a dtmf tone but continuos is heard; the other caller doesn't hear the noise and doesn't hear the person at the phone. The noise go on for some seconds and then stop. This problem happens random, always for incoming call.
We use PBX asterisk based, trunk sip and the firmware of phones are different, v60 v70 and v71.
Anyone has the same problem?

Thanks a lot
Hi retiedintorni,

1. Does this issue happen in internal or external calls? alway for incoming call?
2. You can hear a long tone like DTMF tone at your side and other caller doesn't hear the voice at the phone. Just like some cuts.
3. Can you check about your jitter buffer?
Please make sure the value of jitter buffer should be setted as follow two tips:
(1) Max Delay should not be the same as the Normal Delay
(2) Max Delay and Normal Delay can’t be set as 0.

4. In order to debug, please supply us Syslog level 6, confi.bin and trace.
Before you export the syslog, please set log level as 6, and reboot the phone, then click Start, and reproduce the issue, then click Stop, and export the trace, syslog, config, bin to us.
(About where to export these files, please refer to attached screenshot.)
These three files are very important for us, hope you can kindly understand.

Hi,
1. incoming external calls mostly
2. Yes
3. Min 0, Max 300, Normal 120
4. files attached. We can't trace when noise occured because it's random.

Thanks
Sorry, 1. also for outgoing external calls.

Thnaks
Hi retiedintorni,

Thanks for your files.
But your issue just happens random and the trace is very importment for us to debug this DTMF issue.
Do you try to change DTMF type as SIP-INFO or others type to try again?
Hi,
also tried to set dtmf auto+sip info and dtmf relay but alway the same.
Can I try inband or sip info?
Hi retiedintorni,

Please try inband or sip info again.
