Hi

I am trying to use the Yealink Phonebook Generation Tool to create a remote xml phonebook.

When I click the Remote Phonebook button I get a Microsoft VBA error box saying Permission to use object denied.

[attachment=344]

Any ideas?

Quite keen to get this to work as I have a customer that wants the feature.

thanks
Yealink, any ideas on why the VBA code is throwing the permissions error?

thanks
worke fine for me.
are you extracting the XML file and saving to desktop?
looks like it saves to "C" drive. Do you have access to write to "C" root?

the file is password protected, so the code can not be edited to save elsewhere.

Hi

I tried to use the Tool and I also created the RemotePhonebook.xml file - no problem there.

When i log in to my T46 phone from the browser and defining the URL with a name "test" - no problem

Then when I through the menu on the phone try to open the remote phonebook the phone displays it is not possible to read the phonebook.

What to do ?

Best Regards
Claus Møller
Hi ClausMoller,

Do you mean you can't enter the remote phonebook in the phone interface?
Or search the remote phonebook? If you want to search remote phonebook, you need to enable the search in the webpage.
Hi

What i meen is that when i have created the remote phonebook in Excel and made the XML file. Then I can't open this through my phone interface - I see the name of the remote phonebook, but the phone display me an error, that says "Could not open" (not sure about the exact Words - as my phone is in Danish.

I do not have any problems getting the local phone book transfered to the phone.
Hi ClausMoller,
