28.72.0.25 broke the web interface, so I now need to figure out how to downgrade it without the web interface.

Standby...

p.s. The VLAN issue still persists on this version.

I grabbed another T46G with 28.72.0.2 and VLAN tagging works as it should. However calling and other basic functions don't work on that one...

I'll keep testing and report back, worst case scenario is that we stop buying Yealink, the newer executive phones are pretty but don't work very well compared to the last generation.

I tested a bit more and all of the basic functions work fine if we let it ride our data network with VLAN tagging off (28.72.0.2).

These phones just seem to be loaded with bugs no matter what firmware we use, every firmware I've tested does something really strange...

Tested the phone with 28.72.0.25 a bit further, I checked on Firefox, IE and Chrome, it's not a browser issue. It just won't load at all.

I put in the IP: http://x.x.x.x/

It tries to redirect to this URL: http://x.x.x.x/servlet?p=login&q=loginFo...pto=status

Then fails like this on Chrome:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to x.x.x.x

On Firefox:
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 172.21.39.100.

etc.
Hi MikeTrike,

Please just input the ip address x.x.x.x but not http://x.x.x.x/.
I just wanted to mention that we are seeing the same issue with VLAN tagging and the T46G. Our old T-28P works fine, but no luck with the T46G and firmware 28.72.0.45.

It's an enterprise phone that does not support an enterprise environment. We purchased a unit for evaluation, but we will hold off making any further purchases until this issue is fixed.
Hi Supranet,

Do you mean that the T46G can't obtain an ip address through DHCP? Have you tried a resetting?
Can you please upgrade to V73 firmware and check again?

If phone still can't get an ip address, can you please get a pcap trace? We will let our R&D to do an analysis.

Thank you!
James
James,

Sorry for being vague. Yes, it cannot get DHCP on a tagged VLAN. I did a factory reset, then upgraded the firmware to 28.72.0.45, and it still did not work.

I did not try the Broadsoft rom, but will try to give it a shot either today or tomorrow. It wasn't clear to me how the Broadsoft rom differs from the standard one, so I was hesitant to try it. If it fails, I'll look into getting you a pcap trace.
Supranet,

You just need to upgrade to a common version unless you register to a Broadsoft server.

I am on version 28.80.0.70... when I don't specify a VLAN (or VLAN 1) everything works perfectly. When I specify VLAN 100 (my voice vlan) through any method (manual in phone, voice vlan on procurve 1920-24g-poe+, or PVID on procurve 1920-24g-poe+) the phone cannot register with the SIP provider.

Do you have vlan 100 programmed on your router?
If you set a port to untagged Vlan 100 and hook a phone to it without setting a vlan on the phone can the phone register back?
