Hi,

We seem to be running into the same issue with all of our users on transferring calls. They hit the transfer button, type the extension and then it takes a second and transfers the call. seems simple. the only problem is it shows the call on hold while it transfers it.

then to have it disappear off of the phone they have to hit the cancel button.

Is there a way to transfer the call and it disappear off of the phone right away?

This delay in transferring calls is upsetting our receptionist because she cant answer another call until the last one is completed.

thanks jasit
Hi Jasit,
You can refer to our user guide about how to transfer the call:
http://www.yealink.com/Upload/document/Y...923738.pdf
hit TRANSFER+extension+hung up/hit TRANSFER, then the call can be transferred.
If any misunderstanding please let us know, thanks.
on the phone it shows the call as on hold till the person you transfer the phone to picks up.

The only way around that is to hit the cancel button so that it drops the call on your phone but continues the transfer.

Is there a setting that I am missing, we basically want to hit transfer, type the extension and hang-up and the call disappear from our line.
What are your settings under
Phone -> Features -> Transfer Settings?

Also are you using the phone with a PBX?
Hi Craig,

I was hoping that you would see this, I know that you have a lot more experience with these phones then I do.

Blind Transfer on hook enabled
Semi attended transfer disabled
attended disabled
transfer on conference hang up disabled
transfer mode via dss key New Call (can't seem to change this one it always goes back to new call)

using firmware 38.70.0..143 for the multicast

My system has: ENABLE. ENABLE. ENABLE. DISABLE. NEW CALL.
No complaints from my users.

And yes -- multicast, what a great thing. We had it last May 2012 - we forced their hand and they did a custom firmware (almost cancelled a project of 100 devices because they didn't have it).
