Two Part Question:

1. Where do I disable the POP-UP screen that tells me I have voicemail?

2. I have 4 accounts on 4 PBX's but I only want voicemail notification for the main account. I can't see where to disable this for all accounts except for main Account 1.
Hi Element,
Frist, you should disable "Subscribe for MWI" in the phone webpage-Account-Advanced
Secondly, you should also need to disable this on the server(PBX), even we disabled in the phone, the server will still send the voicemail message to the phone if the server enabled the voicemail prompt.
Thanks.
I think elementpbx meant in item #1 above that s/he wanted to disable the pop-up message for voicemail that comes up on the LCD screen, not the notification of new voicemail (i.e. through either the power light flashing or the icon in the top right of the LCD screen). That's a feature I wouldn't mind seeing either.
This is correct....how do we disable the actual pop-up screen and ONLY have the red blinking light and/or VM tone? Customers are complaining.
Hi all,
Did you try to disable "Subscribe for MWI" in the phone webpage-Account-Advanced ?
Generally if you disable this, the phone will not prompt you in a period time. It will just have icon on the top right of the LCD screen and Message button is light up.
But if your server have such feature, i mean send the prompt to the phone in a period time actively, you should also disable this in the server.
Thanks.
I just recently deployed 164 Yealink phones on a new install 16 of which are T46. I have the same voicemail popup screen and I have disabled "Subscribe for MWI" in the gui. The executive phone users are complaining about it loudly, if a New or a Beta software is available please let us know were we can download this from.

gary.
HI Gary Clarke,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We will do an optimization about this popup screen.
Thanks for your response.
We have disabled Subscribe MWI and still have the issue. Seems like when the phone registers the screen flashes. Customers hate this feature. Rather just have a blinkling light. My phone locks up as well during this flash proces 10% of the time. Sent logs last week to Yealink.[/u]
I have loaded the new .72 firmware but still have the same problem, I take it this PROBLEM was not fixed in this new firmware.
Hi Gary Clarke,

Please enter the webpage->Features->Power LED,
disable "Voice/Text Mail Power Light Flash".
I attach a screenshot for you.Big Grin
