Hello,

Firmware Version 2.70.0.140
Hardware Version 1.0.0.39

In my T28P I have;

Internet Port Type DHCP
IP Address 192.168.1.80
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
MAC Address 00-15-65-3F-95-F2

... but in my ( multiple - TP-Link, pfSense, others when I test them ) routers I see;

4 Unknown 00:15:65:3F:95:F2 192.168.1.80

... and that 'Unknown' is a problem because I cannot tell which device this is unless I either set a permanent registration in DHCP or I ask all users what their IP Address is.

I did see a previous posting where a fix was supposed to be coming in the next .70 release but it didn't seem to make it into this one.

This is a bit of an administrative nightmare when you have lots of phones.
Hello,
Did you enable LLDP in the phone webpage-Network-Advanced?
The phone will send the name/IP address/Mac address... to switch or router.
You can see attached picture.
Thanks.
Hello,

I have just checked and it is already enabled.........

I will look at a trace in Wireshark and check to if I see the same information you have provided.
I just wanted to post that I have upgraded to 2.71.0.140 and without any changes to my infrastructure DHCP now correctly shows the name I have entered in Features / General Information / DHCP Hostname.

Thanks for your efforts at resolving this issue.
