I have some new T26P phones and would like to configure the backlight to be always on. However, I'm concerned that it may prematurely fail. What is the expected lifetime of the backlight?

Sorry we don't have accurate lifetime of our backlight, but don't worry, if you need, you can keep them to be always on. Generally there will be no problem.
