Is there a way to mix <MenuItem> and <DirectoryEntry> entries in the same remote phonebook?
To create a phonebook that looks something like:
* Group Link 1
* Group Link 2
* Phone Entry 1
* Phone Entry 2

I understand that they're probably meant to be separate because of their different <IPPhoneDirectory> and <IPPhoneMenu> root elements, but I thought I'd ask anyway if there are any workarounds to achieve what I want.

Sorry they can't mix in the same xml file.
You should use two different template for group and the contacts information.
