Using the 3cx phone system, calls to GROUPS/QUEUES are rewritten with a PREFIX - the name of the group.
So, if 555-1212 which is Yealink - calls us the display says

"IT - Yealink
555-1212"

The problem is that if the phone number matches an entry in the local phone book in the phone then it gets rewritten

"Yealink Inc
555-1212" and does not show the PREFIX.

Any way to avoid this ?
Hi Craigreilly,

Please check whether "Caller ID Header" is helpful for you to solve this issue.
You can access to the phone webpage-Account-Advanced-Caller ID Header
FROM -> default - as explained above
PAI -> registers anonymous
PAI-FROM -> same as FROM
RPID-PAI-FROM -> same as FROM
PAI-RPID-FROM -> same as FROM
RPID-FROM -> same as FROM
wow - I figured a response by now.
