ATTN: MAC USERS - PLEASE READ

I have Firmware Version 2.61.0.80

I am go to upgrade > basic and choose 2.70.0.140.rom

and then the screen says it is working and can take 5 minutes - but the phone does nothing and it just sits there

i did a backup of the phone - and then factory reset

and then i couldn't do a restore - the phone just sat there

Then I thought to try a different browser - MUST USE FIREFOX - NOT SAFARI

Maybe it's a compatibility issue with SAFARI browser, generally we don't use this browser. Sorry.
