Full Version: T54W and EXP50

I have one T54W that has an EXP50 attached to it. The EXP50 is stuck in the loading screen.

Firmware 96.86.0.70
Hardware 96.1.2.0.2.1.2

Can use the same EXP50 on T54w with
Firmware 96.84.0.95
Hardware 96.0.1.0.0.0

Cannot downgrade, so not sure what to do.

There is a firmware version that fixes this, I've had this issue many times over at this point.

That worked. Any clue why its not in yealink firmware all the time?

I had the same issue as Josh and installed the Firmware. The EXP50 is working now, but there is no sound between the transferer and the transferee when trying to transfer a call. Do you know about any new firmware releases that fix both issues?

I just came here because we had our third one start doing this. It was always after power outages so we assumed they were in some way weak to power issues, but to discover that this is not only a firmware issue but one that's been known for apparently months with no publicity and just a hidden firmware is very disappointing.

Can anyone from Yealink comment on when this fix is going to make it to a public firmware release and preferably some release notes or a FAQ entry documenting it?

Hello, where do you locate this firmware? is it on Yealink pages somewhere?
the version my phones are on is 96.86.0.122, but i dont see any info for this release either..
We have had the same ongoing issue that has had me banging my head against the wall

Console worked great no issues, network goes down or power goes out and one phone with a console will end up with the console not loading.


Console will NOT work at all regardless of factory reset, power cycle, powering phone with POE switch and console with AC adapter or powering both devices with an ac adapter, different network.

The console just wont work on the affected phone; last time was a few months ago our fix was to provide a new phone we assumed the issue was a bad USB port (console and usb headset would not work at all) so we swap the phone and everything is great.

Fast forward to today...

Today a customer called in with the same issue again.
I have a tech onsite right now and we upgraded to 96.86.254.850 for one phone.
96.86.254.850 fixed the issue.

Hey Ryan,

did you have any problems attended-transferring calls with this Firmware?
I have had this issue to with the .70 firmware.

Why are there new firmware's not listed on Yealink support site. the Yealink YMCS portal has a 96.86.0.136 for install on T5x phones, but no release notes that I can find.
