I was happily using a remote phone book, but it's recently stopped connecting. The XML is hosted on my nas, and was feeding data for incoming calls. I could also open the phonebook and scroll through all the directory entries.

Now only the phone number is display, and when trying to manually open the phone book, I can see the name "Display Name" I provided, but the handset reports a "Connect Error!"

There is not other information provided.

I've checked the URL stored in the Remote Phone Book field - https://nas/Yealink.xml

I can access this URL from my desktop browser.

How can I troubleshoot why the handset can't see this URL any more?

Hi,

"Connect Error" means that the handset can't connect to the Remote Phone Book... but you've already figured that out. Undecided

Have you already restarted the base station and checked whether the problem has been resolved?
Have there been any recent updates or changes to firmware?
Try https://<NAS_IP-address>/Yalink.xml instead of https://nas/Yealink.xml
