Full Version: CallerID and LDAP

In LDAP, I have several people with the name extension as it is a shared desk. However, in the phone system I have only one name on the extension defined as the CallerID. When a call is made from that line, the phone system captures the correct CallerID. However, on the receiving Yealink T48U it displays the last person from LDAP that matched that extension number.

Can the phone get CallerID from the phone system while maintaining LDAP integration for searching for numbers to dial?
Just to clarify.

We use AD in order to enable staff to look up the numbers of staff people.

It seems the caller ID is also coming from AD rather than from the phone system. The problem with this is that in AD, I have multiple people with the same extension as they share a desk. In the phone system, I have caller ID set up a very specific way for that desk.
