Has anyone had any experience using the DND emergency function? A client of ours would like their PA's to reach them while DND is on.

We're running T42G's with 29.73.0.50 firmware and haven't had much success in getting the emergency authorized extension to ring through.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The numbers defined as DNDs emergency numbers cannot call.
I tried both with local DND on the phone as well as account/user based DND. I couldn't make it work.
Maybe the numbers have to exactly match the transmitted caller-ID or something. (I just tried the extension number, only numbers are accepted anyway)
I guess this feature with user DND has to be supported by the pbx? But local DND emergency should work anyway.

I tested this on a T42G with firmware 29.80.0.95 and it works fine for both "Forward Emergency" and "DND Emergency" for internal and external numbers (with Asterisk).
And yes, the callers Caller-ID must match exactly.
