Hi,
i've a T58W pro with the latest firmware and i try to import/use google contacts.
But i didn't have found a option for that.
Then i tried the connect my mobile phone over Bluetooth and i can see the contacts from the phone, but i cant import them to T58w.
Anybody a idea how i can do this?
Thank you
Regards
I've tried to get this working also on a T57W but it fails. I wish they could get this working as it would be a great feature.
1st method: install GApps (Google Play) and you can add your Google account
2nd method: connect your smartphone via bluetooth with access to voice and contacts
I've tried to install Google Play at the Phone, but i coul'd get it run.
It crash every time.
How you did it?
With smartphone connect over BT works, but you have stay connected to have the contact list. If you disconnect the smartphone, no more contacts.
I tried your proposal, but i couldn't get it run.
I've download the open_gapps-arm-9.0-pico-20220215.zip, edit the config file an upload the file back to phone. The http server shows upload OK.
But i don't have a opportunity to log in to my google account.
I just see the "Google Contacts" option in settings but i can't do anything with.
What i do wrong?
Thanks

on phone menu:
Settings / Basic / APP Accounts /add Google account
I'm having the same issue. I also cannot connect my calendar. When I try to add the google contacts - i receive an error advising me that sync is having issues right now and to try back later. When I tried to connect the calendar, it asks me to login to my google account and then tells me I already have that email registered on this device. Yealink told me to do a firmware update and I did that - issue still not resolved. I advised the help desk support people that firmware update did not work and I am waiting for a response.
I have a SIP-T58W with a Cam 50.
