Full Version: T29G POE Requirement change?

All 11 x t29G phones working fine until this morning when one was unplugged.

Now the switch (120W) cannot power all the phones, each T29G appears to now be requesting 15.4W of power. I’ve had to add a temporary switch to get customer working.

Yealink’s spec sheet shows it should only consume max 5.7W but I cannot get these to work below the 15.4W that they seem to be consuming.

Firmware is Yealink SIP-T29G 46.83.0.35 - has something changed?

cheers

Hi,

I think the best way is to ask Yealink support directly instead of through this forum.
