I have Yealink T54W phones and needed a headset. I purchased the WH63 headset and in trying to set up the headpiece with one of the phones, I was able to get it to answer OK but I cannot get it to ring in the headpiece.

If I am not looking at the phone I have no idea someone if calling. What am I missing?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Have you upgraded the headset and USB connect to the latest available firmware, in that version you should be able to adjust the ringtone in the headset.

Also you need to change the setting Ringer Device for Headset to Use Headset & Speaker in the webgui at Features/Audio.

Did marvdheijden's advice solved the issue ?
After updating my T42S to v86, and my monaural WH62 to v432, I can report that when a call comes into my deskphone:
- the deskphone rings
- the WH62 base rings
- nothing obvious can be heard in the headset itself.

Looking at USB connect settings, i can't see anything to change this.

This implies that if a monaural WH62-equiped person moves a couple of meters from his or her desk where stand the deskphone and headset base, he or she can't hear a call is coming in which someone defeats wearing a wireless DECT headset.

1. Did I miss something during my testings ?
2. Is this feature dedicated to dualaural headsets ?
