Hello,
I have 5 Yealink W52Ps with a base station in my network.
Unfortunately, the DECT signal is now sufficient and I need repeaters.
How to do it?
Do I have to use a separate repeater for each DECT W52P?

Router -> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone

Or is there another way.

Regards Stephan

Hallo,

Router -> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone
-> W52P -> RT10 -> VoIP-Phone

Oder geht das auch anders.

Danke Stephan

Hi Stephan,

I don't have experiences with repeaters, but I think 2 repeaters will do the job.
The W52P base station can handle 4 simultaneous calls.
The W52H handset can do 2 simultaneous calls.
The RT30 Repeater can handle 2 simultaneous calls.
2 handsets with 2 repeaters = 4 simultaneous calls max.

FYI:
RT10 and RT20 are EOL.
RT30 with the W52 base station does not support cascade setup.

Hope this will help.

Is it possible to use W52P base as a repeater? Instead of RT30?

Hi,

No. A W52P base cannot be used as a repeater.
