Hi,
a customer has a lot of T48G an T46G an a Innovaphone phone system with a SIP Trunk from german Telekom.
The problem is that the caller doesn't get a "ringback-tone" when the phone is alerting.. and this happens only with some german mobileproviders.
On a incomming call, the phone sends every time a 183 SessionProgress with SDP and 1/10seconds later a ringing.
It seems that some german providers hava a problem with that signalling!
Is it possible to disable the 183 EarlyMedia? because wir do not need that!

Hi,
The 183 Session Progress message is part of the SIP sequence and can not be Switched Off or Disabled.
You can configure 180 Ring Workaround which defines whether to deal with the 180 message received after the 183 message. When the caller receives a 183 message, it suppresses any local ringback tone and begins to play the media received. 180 Ring Workaround allows the phones to resume and play the local ringback tone upon a subsequent 180 message received.
Please check if "Features > General Information > 180 Ring Workaround" is "Enabled"

Hi, but when I understand that correctly, fixes that workaround the problem locally with woutgoing calls.
But: I need to disable EarlyMedia at the SIP Phone, because than the phone should not send a 183SessionProgress before 180 ringing.
Sehr SessionProgress with SDP indicades EarlyMedia which causes the problem.
