Hi there,

My T41S and T41P phones are "waking up" all the time. Especially in a bedroom this is annoying :-) What to do?

Hi,

On which firmware version are the phone running?
Do a factory reset, re-provisioning and try again.

Hi @complex1, thanks for responding.

Problem is somehow solved for the T41P and the T41S.

I also have a T46G and there the problem still exist. And there is another problem: Sometimes the screen goes black and the red light starts blinking. I "played" around with different firmware. Problem with doing changes to the firmware is that I loose the Dutch language in the phone.
Now I'm running 28.83.188.6 (188 means its the Dutch version) which I get via https://support.hallo.eu/hc/nl/articles/...stalleren.

Hi Jeroen,

Please upgrade your phones with the latest firmware found below.
When the upgrade is successful, reset the phone to factory default (this is a must), re-provisioning it and try again.

https://www.go-ccs.nl/downloads/T41S-66.83.188.9.rom

Hope this will help.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for your reply and the links to the firmware.
I took all the steps you described, it seems that after the re-provisioning i'm back to 28.83.188.6 again?

Hi Jeroen,

It looks like this phone is locked to a phone provider.
Please contact them and ask if they are willing to upgrade the firmware for you.

I would, if I knew which provider it is. Wink

This is how I have it right now:

T41S: That one is fine, it's Dutch and doesn't have any strange behaviour.
T41P: Works fine to but isn't Dutch. Couldn't update with Frank's firmware because of a OEM conflict.
T46G: Dutch but still wakes up all the time and has also the blackout/red light problem.
T41P is ok, that phone is on a bedroom and isn't used much.
The problems with the T46G are annoying me the most. I had Frank's firmware uploaded and after that made sure it can't auto-provisioning but that doesn't matter, still having the same problems.

Hi,

If you are monitoring BLF status this could be wakening up the phone.
The red light issue can be stopped by autop the phone with next two parameters:
features.power_saving.power_led_flash.on_time = 0
features.power_saving.power_led_flash.off_time = 100

Hope this will help.

Is there somewhere a manual/guide explaining how to do this? I found a blank provisionfile on the Yealink website (here) but it's not clear to me how this works.

Hi,

What you can try is this:

Create a plain text file (e.g. features.cfg) and add next parameters:
#!version:1.0.0.1
features.power_saving.power_led_flash.on_time = 0
features.power_saving.power_led_flash.off_time = 100

Log in your phone, go to Settings > Configuration > Import CFG Configuration File then Select and Import the previous created cfg file.
If everything went well, the 2 parameters have been imported and your issue should be solved.

There is also a Provisioning Guide available, called "Yealink SIP IP Phones Auto Provisioning Guide V1.0.pdf"
