Hi there !

I've reported this issue / feature request to Yealink a couple of years ago and, whereas they found it a good idea, it's not been implemented so far.

I'm in France and many of my contacts have accents in their name.
While searching through the phonebook, names with accents are not considered and just skipped.

Lets for exemple consider a contact "Agnès Tartenpion".
Depending on the used search mode / input method :
- "Abc" / "abc" / "ABC" / "2aB" : I have to type "a+g+n+è" to find it. Which is fine but painful as these modes are really time consuming to use;
- "123" : works well as it actually also search through letters... but not the one with accents. (Concretely if I press the "3" key, it will look for "3,d/D,e/E,f/F" but not "é,è, ...")

What I'm trying to achieve is just by pressing "3" it filters through all letters including the one with letters...

It looks that IME are customisable (http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=207) but we don't use autoprovisionning in our company... Is the a way to access / customize this file directely ?

Any idea ?

Thanks !
Max
